Daredevil Showrunner Already Pitched Season 4 To Netflix

Marvel fans might have been concerned about the fate of Marvel TV's Daredevil after Netflix's decision to cancel both Iron Fist and Luke Cage, but it looks like the fanbase has a bit of good news. After a complex and bloody third season of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) going up against Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), it looks like showrunner Erik Oleson's done pitching the next season.

Taking to Twitter, Oleson just announced that he's pitched the fourth season of Daredevil to Netflix. Now, all fans need to do is sit back, cross their fingers, and wait and see whether or not the new season's going to be green lit.

While this new announcement regarding the season 4 pitch will certainly lighten the mood, fans are still concerned over the future of Marvel TV's remaining shows on Netflix like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher. Studies have previously revealed that many of Marvel TV's offerings on the streaming service site experienced a steep drop in viewership once the shows hit their second and third season – and with Iron Fist and Luke Cage out of the picture, who's to know what might happen to the other shows.

It doesn't help that the third season of Daredevil tied a few loose threads from the previous seasons of the series, leaving the show with little to go on with if a fourth season were to be created. Then again, there's still Bullseye. The assassin could certainly spice up the series.

Daredevil is available for streaming on Netflix.
