Late last year, following the temporary shutdown of production due to the Hollywood labor strikes, Daredevil: Born Again underwent a massive creative overhaul after Marvel Studios reviewed the footage and decided that the original iteration was not working.
Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for more news and updates surrounding the redevelopment of the series and wondering when they will be able to resume filming.
They got more excited even further when it was confirmed recently that the original Daredevil show that aired on Netflix is now considered to be part of the MCU canon.
Now, we finally have a filming update coming from the star of the series.

Vincent D'Onofrio Reveals Daredevil: Born Again is 'Days Away' from Restarting Filming
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Vincent D'Onofrio shared an exciting filming update on Daredevil: Born Again following the creative overhaul.
He revealed that the MCU series is set to restart filming again in just a couple of days. Just like the original Netflix show, the entire production will also take place in New York.
"We're days away from restarting Daredevil, so that's that's we're about to plunge into a lot of work," the actor said.
"We're shooting in New York, in in the studio and on locations here. Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Chelsea. Stuff like that."
D'Onofrio also expressed his excitement about the show's new creative direction, especially with the involvement of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the main directors of the second season of Loki.
"We're pretty excited. These scripts are great. We've got two great directors. Charlie [Cox] and I, we talk. We speak every day, and are working on stuff every day," he added.
"I feel like I am excited, like when you're about to start a new job that you know is going to be tons of work. You know, so you're like, super excited, and like, 'Oh here we go. Here we go.'"
It is great to hear that the series will finally begin filming again very soon and it looks like the team behind the new version of the series has found a better creative direction that suits for Matt Murdock's next journey.
Hopefully, the production will go smoothly so that fans can finally watch the highly-anticipated series after years of waiting since the project was first reported.
