Daredevil: Born Again to Bring Back Original Vanessa Fisk Actress

Daredevil: Born Again has brought back the original actress who played Vanessa Fisk after the role was initially recast.

During the original incarnation of the MCU series prior to the creative overhaul, Sandrine Holt was cast to take over the role of Vanessa Fisk. It was unknown during that time why a new actress was tapped to play the character.

Now that the series has a new creative direction again, it looks like Marvel Studios has decided to bring back the actress who originally portrayed the role in the Netflix version.

Ayelet Zurer Returning as Vanessa Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again

Thanks to a set photo posted by Instagram user @stevesandsnyc, we have an official confirmation that Ayelet Zurer is reprising the role of Vanessa Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again.

She was seen filming a scene with Vincent D'Onofrio in an outdoor location and sporting a formal outfit.

Insider @CanWeGetSomeToast weighed in on the reveal and shared that Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios are doing what they can to align Born Again as closely as possible with the original Netflix series.

The return of Zurer as Vanessa Fisk is certainly exciting news for fans since it is a sign that the new series will indeed be in alignment with what was set up in the Netflix version.

It also helps with the continuity and it wouldn't be baffling for some audience if a new actress suddenly plays the role in the MCU series. Now, that won't be a concern since Zurer is still going to be the face of Vanessa Fisk.

Now, it is interesting to see what will be Vanessa's arc in the new series and what her role will be in Wilson's mayoral duty.

Daredevil: Born Again is slated to premiere on Disney+ in 2025.
