There is little doubt that people are always concerned about the next season of Rick and Morty considering that the wait between seasons is just too long. However, it looks like the team behind the animated series has your back. Dan Harmon has just revealed that they are now working on Season 7 and even shared some details about what to expect in the upcoming episodes.
Harmon recently attended the Rick and Morty Global Celebration panel at Adult Swim's recent festival where he somehow confirmed that the fifth and sixth seasons of Rick and Morty are already done.
"I think we're working on Season 7 right now, I can't even keep track. I wouldn't know if I were spoiling Season 5 or Season 6," Harmon said. He then added that there is one particular character who could return in one of the new episodes his team has been working on.
"There's pretty groovy things coming regarding Beth...Space Beth was not a one-off character. That's a thing that could have been the case," Harmon stated.
It's incredible to know that work on Rick and Morty is going well and that the team is already way ahead of fan expectations. Hopefully, this will mean that the fifth season will be ready to air by early next year and will quickly be followed by Season 6.
Rick and Morty Season 5 has not yet been given an official release date. However, there are speculations that the new season will premiere on Adult Swim by early 2021. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
