Daisy Ridley is very busy right now with the filming of Star Wars: Episode VIII. But the 23-year-old actress recently proved that there will always be time when it comes to fans.
Last month, Davidson College student Kevin Carlock invited Ridley to his spring formal by sharing a rap video on YouTube. The video isn't fancy and all that, but one would clearly see the amount of effort Carlock put into making the invite.
Some of the rap's lyrics include:
So long story short, I think you'd love it here. Kylo Ren's not invited, you've got nothing to fear. Daisy, you're cooler than Leia and Padme before her. I'd give you more than quarter portions for your parts from star destroyers.

However, Daisy only wound up with the video recently. In reply, The Force Awakens star made a note which she shared via her own Instagram account. In the note, the actress thanked Carlock before explaining that she couldn't go because she has a staring contest to attend to with Luke Skywalker.
Ridley said:
Thank you so much for that brilliant invite to your formal. Unfortunately I'm locked in an intense staring competition with Luke Skywalker, somewhere in the middle of the galaxy, so won't be able to make it! Let me know how it goes!
We all know that meant the filming of Star Wars: Episode VIII. It seemed though that the actress genuinely regretted not being able to go. Does this mean Carlock actually has a chance of going to his spring formal if Ridley wasn't busy? Some people seem to think so.
Well, Carlock wrote Ridley back on Instagram, but not without hinting at his own belief with regard to Rey's parentage.
Carlock replied:

Lucky guy. Not everyone gets a reply from Daisy Ridley.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is slated for release on December 15, 2017.
