Crash Course in Romance immediately scored people's attention as soon as it arrived.
Premiered on January 14 on tvN, the Yoo Je Won-directed series explores the story of a banchan shop owner and a top hagwon instructor.
In the series, Jeon Do Yeon plays the role of Nam Haeng Seon, a former national handball player who starts operating a banchan shop following her mother's death. Meanwhile, Jung Kyung Ho is Choi Chi Yeol, a math instructor at Pride Academy who has an eating disorder.
Three weeks after its release, the K-drama and its lead stars earned the top spot on the most buzzworthy list.

Crash Course In Romance Tops Most Buzzworthy Drama List
The Good Data Corporation released its updated weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. For the second consecutive week, the tvN K-drama series scored the top spot.
The company lists the dramas based on the data it collected from social media, news articles, blog posts, videos, online communities and more. It includes the series that are currently airing or have been scheduled for release.

Following Crash Course in Romance on the list are JTBC dramas The Interest of Love and Agency, SBS' Payback and KBS2's Three Bold Siblings
Missing: The Other Side 2, Vengeance of the Bride, The Forbidden Marriage, Strangers Again and Trolley completed the top 10.
Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Do Yeon Dominate Most Buzzworthy Actor Rankings
Aside from the drama itself, Crash Course in Romance lead stars Jung Kyung Ho, and Jeon Do Yeon also appeared on the list of most buzzworthy actors' first and second place, respectively.
Lee Bo Young (Agency), Moon Ga Young (The Interest of Love), Yoo Yeon Seok (The Interest of Love), Son Naeun (Agency), Lee Sun Hyun (Payback), Geum Sae Rok (The Interest of Love), Park Ha Na (Vengeance of the Bride) and Noh Yoon Seo (Crash Course in Romance) also appeared on the list's top 10.
Jung Kyung Ho notably starred in several hit series, including Smile You, Heartless City, One More Happy Ending, When the Devil Calls Your Name, Life on Mars and Hospital Playlist. Meanwhile, Jeon Do Yeon is famous for her roles in Lost, The Good Wife, Shoot for the Stars, Our Sunny Days of Youth and General Hospital, to name a few.
