GOT7 BamBam revealed the real reason why he chose to stay in South Korea instead of attending a Louis Vuitton fashion show.

BamBam’s career in the fashion industry has continued to expand in the past years. He initially launched his clothing line, doubleB, before creating a new line in collaboration with Charm’s years later.

In 2021, Vogue Thailand recognized him as one of the most influential people in Thailand’s fashion industry. He also became YSL’s new beauty muse.

Attending a Louis Vuitton would have been another milestone for him, but the Make It Right singer chose not to attend the event.

Why GOT7 BamBam Missed Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

BamBam recently appeared on the Jan. 25 episode of Radio Star alongside Kwanghee, Whang Soo Kyeong and Joo Woo Jae.

According to the GOT7 member, he was supposed to be in a Louis Vuitton fashion show as a representative of Thailand on the day he appeared on Radio Star. He clarified that he had a good relationship with the brand for two years.

He would have been picked as an ambassador for the brand if he had only attended the show as he personally received an invite from the brand. However, he declined after receiving a call from Radio Star.

"But then 'Radio Star' also called me. So I contemplated about this so much. But I thought, 'Radio Star' should be a priority. So I chose 'Radio Star,’” BamBam said.

Host Yoo Se Yoon immediately celebrated as he said that the show won over the luxury brand. Meanwhile, Joo Woo Jae quipped about what kind of life he needs to live so he could also pick between the brand and the show.

When the model was asked which one he would pick, Joo Woo Jae said he would go straight to Paris.

Why Did BamBam Sign With His Current Label?

After leaving JYP Entertainment, he joined Abyss Company. He also released his most recent digital single, Wheels Up, under Golden State Entertainment.

During his recent show appearance, he explained that he signed with Abyss Company after the label told him he would help him promote in South Korea even more.

"I started to doubt my promotion in the entertainment industry and thought about even retiring,” he said.

But with the help of his agency, BamBam decided to continue his career.
