Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige delivered an onslaught of exciting news during Disney's 2020 Investor Day but apparently, he purposely left out one project that is also reportedly in active development. The good folks over at Murphy's Multiverse have reported that the studio is working on a new Captain America spinoff show that could tie in directly to the upcoming Disney+ show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The project in question is Nomad and while other details about it weren't disclosed, it's safe to assume that it'll be a live-action series. To those unaware, Nomad was first introduced in Captain America #180 and the character is the alter-ego Steve Rogers went with after learning the U.S. Government was in the thrall of the Secret Empire. Rogers wasn't the only person to take up the Nomad mantle, other notable Marvel characters that have adopted the persona are Jack Monroe and Rikki Barnes, Bucky Barnes' granddaughter from an alternate reality.

This new development now begs the question, who could possibly take on the mantle in the MCU? Of course, the obvious choice would be Rogers himself which could mean that Chris Evans could potentially return to the franchise at some point. Should this happen, it'll be a different version of Steve as Earth-616's Captain Rogers returned to the present time as an old man. Let's see what happens.

Meanwhile, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will hit Disney+ in early 2021.
