Here's Every Marvel Project Update Dropped During Disney Investor Day

It's no secret that Disney Investor Day is an exciting event for Marvel fans. After all, this meant that we would finally get some long-awaited updates on the shows and films that Marvel Studios has been working on. We'll make things easy for you by rounding up all the awesome news dropped at the event.

Let's start out with the Disney+ shows that have already been in production and are already set to premiere next year. Marvel dropped three awesome teasers for WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Each teaser offered some new footage from their respective shows and also confirmed the release dates.

WandaVision is set to premiere on January 15, 2021 while The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be available for streaming starting March 19, 2021. Loki was not yet given an official date but will be released in May next year. The animated series What If...? also got an awesome teaser but no release date was revealed just yet.

Hawkeye, which is currently in production, has been confirmed to air in late Fall 2021 and although it's rather late at this point, it was also confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld will portray Kate Bishop.

Kevin Feige also made it official that Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk, which will also feature Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner. Likewise, it was confirmed that Moon Knight is already in development and Ms. Marvel got its own sizzle reel where it was revealed that Kamala Khan will appear in Captain Marvel 2.

There are new shows announced as well. Feige revealed that there will be an Ironheart series featuring Dominique Thorne as engineering protégé Riri Williams while Armor Wars will focus on Don Cheadle's Rhodey. In addition to that, fans can expect a Nick Fury-led show Secret Invasion.

Interestingly, there will be two different Guardians of the Galaxy spin-offs that will air on Disney+. The first one is the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special directed by James Gunn that will premiere in 2022. The second one is a series of animated shorts titled I Am Groot set for 2023.

Now let's move on to the movies. It was revealed that Black Panther 2 is still happening despite the unfortunate passing of Chadwick Boseman. Since Marvel is choosing not to recast the character, the sequel will focus on the world of Wakanda.

The sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania got an interesting title and also confirmed that Jonathan Majors will play Kang the Conqueror. The film will still be directed by Peyton Reed and bring back the main cast members.

Finally, saving the best for last, Marvel made it official that a Fantastic Four reboot is now in development and will be directed by Spider-Man 3's Jon Watts. Needless to say, it's an exciting line-up in the next two years.
