Classic Avengers Story to Reportedly Inspire WandaVision Subplot

Avengers: Infinity War saw Thanos tearing the Mind Stone off of Vision's head, leaving the hero "dead" on the ground. Somehow, Vision will make his return in the upcoming WandaVision series, though how this came to be is still unclear.

It's already known that House of M, Tom King's Vision, James Robinson's Scarlet Witch, and 1985's The Vision and The Scarlet Witch series will be among the comics that the show will draw inspiration from. Now, a recent report reveals another comic that'll influence the series, possibly giving answers to Vision's apparent resurrection.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, one subplot in WandaVision will take inspiration from John Byrne's Vision Quest arc. Specifically, the 42nd issue where Vision goes missing and Wanda searches for him. The latter finds out that he was taken and stripped with all his date wiped which leaves him no memories of Wanda.

"It looks like one of the subplots in the real world centers on Wanda going Humpty Dumpty and trying to reassemble Vision after his parts have been scattered around the world," the outlet notes. "This is the part where a little context would go a long way but, unfortunately, none exists."

It has been previously revealed that S.W.O.R.D will be involved in the show. With Vision's body likely still out there, or at least his data is, it looks like Wanda might need some help in fixing him and try her best to get him back to the way he was.

These comic pieces certainly give fans an incredible insight on what's to come on the show, and it'll be interesting to see how this particular storyline will be adapted on the WandaVision series.
