Chris Evans Endorses Aaron Taylor-Johnson As The Next James Bond


It's no secret that people have been talking about who will be the next James Bond and most of them believe that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will eventually be announced as Daniel Craig's replacement.

Not surprisingly, Chris Evans agrees with the public. The Avengers: Age of Ultron actor just pointed out that his co-star would be perfect as the new 007.

Chris Evans is currently promoting his latest project Ghosted and he was asked who he thinks should be the next James Bond. Interestingly, he volunteered for the job as a joke (via WIRED).

"I'll do it... I thought you were gonna say the next Bond girl," Evans joked. He then confirmed he is pushing for his Age of Ultron co-star.

"No, I'm a big Aaron Taylor-Johnson guy," Evans said.

We're not surprised that Chris Evans is pushing for Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the new James Bond. After all, he's worked with the guy and Taylor-Johnson has already proven he could easily take on awesome action sequences. With that in mind, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the Bullet Train star is soon confirmed to be the next 007.

For now, the James Bond producers have not yet announced the casting for the new 007. However, previous reports have pointed out that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has already met with the producers and it is believed to be a successful meeting. Needless to say, the casting announcement could be happening soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson will play the titular comic book hero in Sony's Kraven the Hunter. He will also play Friedrich Harding in Robert Eggers' remake of the classic Dracula film Nosferatu.

Chris Evans stars in Ghosted which also features Ana de Armas, Adrien Brody, Mike Moh, Tate Donovan, Amy Sedaris, and Tim Blake Nelson. The film premiered on Apple TV+ on April 21, 2023.
