Taylor-Johnson also pointed out that he was thrilled to play a comic book figure who is “not an alien, or a wizard. He’s just a hunter, a human with conviction. An animal lover and a protector of the natural world. He’s a very, very cool character.”

Finally, Taylor-Johnson revealed why Kraven the Hunter is different from other Marvel films. “This one is shot entirely on location,” he said.

This is an awesome bit of information that could lend some authenticity to the movie. Kraven the Hunter is still in production but hopefully, we'll get an update on the film soon.

Kraven the Hunter will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the big-game hunter Sergei "Kraven" Kravinoff while Ariana DeBose is set to portray the voodoo priestess Calypso. The film is being directed by J. C. Chandor from a screenplay by Richard Wenk and the writing duo Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.

For now, the first teaser and related promotional media for Kraven the Hunter have not yet been released. Nevertheless, the film is already scheduled to hit theaters on January 13, 2023.
