Choi Woo Shik Reveals Heartfelt Support He Received From Wooga Squad

Choi Woo Shik received help from people close to his heart while filming Our Beloved Summer.

For fans who have been waiting to see Choi Woo Shik on small screens again, Our Beloved Summer became a dream come true as it served as his first drama since the 2017 Fight For My Way. The actor had since shared how he faced extreme pressure following the series' premiere but managed to get over it because of the drama's staff and his co-stars.

While he savored help from people close to him, he also got support from his family and friends – especially from Wooga Squad members.

BTS V became the latest member of Wooga Squad to show support to Choi Woo Shik before his drama ended. For instance, the K-pop idol shared a video of him on his Instagram Story, clapping the slate before the two stars started acting again.

V also commented on the actor's post featuring a photo from the drama's set. V wrote, "Darling, you've worked hard." But aside from the BTS member, the whole Wooga Squad cheered him on throughout the drama filming.

In a new interview, Choi Woo Shik expressed his gratitude toward his friends who accompanied him in another successful project in the acting industry.

"My friends are the reliable type who support me even if I am not doing a good job. I am really blessed to have good people around me. I received so many supportive messages because I have a lot of kind people around me," he said.

Wooga Squad has been one of the most popular groups of friends in the South Korean entertainment industry. The group includes Choi Woo Shik himself, V, Park Hyung Sik, Park Seo Joon, and Peakboy.

What Does Wooga Squad Mean?

Wooga Squad has been catching people's attention since the stars' friendship got put under the spotlight.

In one clip of BTS V, he explained that Wooga is the short version of the Korean phrase "Woori-ga gajok-inga?" which means "Are we a family?" The relationship they share over the past years proved that, although they are not connected by blood, they treat each other as if they are real-life brothers.

Fans know how they support each other and show what squad goals truly mean, and all of its members surely know that they are a family now.
