This is an awesome update considering that it has been a long time since we got a new Chainsaw Man volume. The latest one, Chainsaw Man Volume 11, was released back in March. Luckily, we only have to wait a few more weeks for the next tankobon.

It's interesting to note that Chainsaw Man Volume 12 has chosen the War Devil to grace the cover. After all, the devil is planning to kill Chainsaw Man and is currently the main antagonist in the manga. However, we all know about Tatsuki Fujimoto's love for strong women so this isn't exactly a huge surprise.

The War Devil was introduced in the first chapter of Chainsaw Man Part 2 when Asa Mitaka is killed by her class president who has a contract with the Justice Devil. The War Devil reanimates Asa's body and occupies it before killing the Justice Devil. Yoru later vows to make the Chainsaw Man vomit up nuclear weapons again and is determined to make Asa help her find him.

Chainsaw Man Volume 12 will be released on October 4, 2022. Chapter 105, the next chapter of Chainsaw Man Part 2, will be published on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
