With the show’s release just a week away, MAPPA shared a new Chainsaw Man Episode 1 promo that gives us a new look at Pochita. Along with this, the official synopsis for the episode has also been released.
The new promo video was shared by the official Chainsaw Man Twitter account and also uploaded on the MAPPA YouTube channel.
While it’s only 15 seconds long, it features new footage that hasn’t been seen yet in previous trailers.

Chainsaw Man is one of the most anticipated anime of Fall 2022. It is based on the hit manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto which was initially serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020.
The manga continued with Part 2 which began last July. Unlike the first part, the continuation is serialized in Jump+, though it is also available in Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump app outside Japan.
It’s fair to say that Chainsaw Man is one of Shueisha’s biggest modern hits.
Despite only being over 100 chapters long so far, the series already has over 16 million copies in circulation.

Alongside the new video, the show’s official website shared an update on the upcoming episode, including the official synopsis as well as screenshots that are taken from the video snippet.
