Chainsaw Man fans have been treated to consecutive weeks with exciting chapters, and this week is no different. Yesterday, Chainsaw Man Chapter 127 was released, and it might just be the most heartfelt yet hilarious chapter in Part 2.
The new chapter, entitled Save the Asa, saw the continuation of the fearsome Falling Devil’s hunt for Asa Mitaka.
But as the title implies, this new chapter shows someone coming just in time to help her out.

Denji Shares Surprisingly Good Life Advice
At the end of the previous chapter, the Falling Devil has already found where Asa was hiding.
In this latest chapter, the devil tells Asa Mitaka that she will be granted a quick and painless death if she gives up.
Given Asa’s state of mind, she lets go and accepts her fate. But before she can fall to her death, Chainsaw Man jumps in and reaches out to her.
Asa has come to terms with her decision, so when she was saved, she told Chainsaw Man (whom she didn’t know is also Denji) to stop and let her go.
She then says that life is nothing but pain and just wants to end it all. But Denji shows some surprising clarity in how he handles the situation.
Aside from telling Asa to think happy thoughts, he tells her that he empathizes with what she’s going through instead of minimizing her feelings.
Denji further says that life is horrible, but if you have something to live for, life’s still worth living.

One of Chainsaw Man Part 2’s Funniest Moments to Date
This surprisingly serious answer took many readers by surprise, but the final page featured a hilarious tonal shift.
When Asa asked Chainsaw Man what he’s living for, he blurts out without thinking that he wants to have sex.
The sudden shift from Denji being heartfelt to him screaming he wants to have sex was a big hit among fans.
On Reddit discussion threads, many called this one of the funniest moments of the series to date.
Aside from being funny and showing that Denji hasn’t fully changed, the chapter was also satisfying as it showed a more heartfelt side of him.
He still hasn’t gotten over his trauma, but he’s still looking to move forward.
While the ending may be abrupt and unexpected, Chainsaw Man fans won’t have to wait too long as the next chapter will be released next week.
