Here's What Happened Before Chainsaw Man Chapter 124

In Chapter 123 of Chainsaw Man, Asa Mitaka and Yoru find themselves face to face with the Falling Devil -- the one responsible for the mass suicides of all the people in the block.

Using the severed head of one of its victims and the merged bodies of many more, the Falling Devil says that they're visiting at the request of the residents of hell.

Soon, the devil makes Asa relive a traumatic memory from her childhood.

After losing her mother, Asa had to move to an orphanage for children whose parents were killed by devils.

Asa didn't like socializing with other children and preferred to spend her time with her cat.

One day, the headmistress proposed to rehome the cat with a friend of hers, saying that one of the children was allergic.

Eventually, she persuaded Asa to give up the cat by telling her that he would be happier somewhere else, with other cats for company.

That night, however, a fellow orphan told Asa that she found a cat looking like hers at the bottom of the river.

When Asa questioned the headmistress, she was cruelly told that it was unfair for her to have a family member when other kids did not.

Back in the present, Asa's world has literally turned upside down. As the Falling Devil explains, reliving traumatic memories makes one fall faster.

Yoru realizes that she can no longer control Asa's body and tells her not to be afraid.

Here Are the Spoilers and Leaks for Chainsaw Man Chapter 124

As of writing, a preview for Chainsaw Man Chapter 124 isn't available yet. A few months ago, leaks circulated the internet, some of which were accurate. But this isn't the case anymore.

Given the abrupt change of tone back to the horror-y and often distressing vibes of Part 1, it's really hard to make a reliable prediction, though, as always, there are theories.

If you're craving more content in the meantime, we've put together a list of the best Chainsaw Man fanfiction to read right now.

Here Are Our Predictions for Chainsaw Man Chapter 124

Chapter 123 of Chainsaw Man revealed a new devil who is extremely scary, despite not being part of the Four Horsemen.

If we were to make a guess, we would expect Chapter 124 to feature the peak of the struggle against the Falling Devil.

This is one of the scariest and most messed up devils we've seen so far. And given that they were sent by the residents of hell, the worst is yet to come.

At this point, we don't know if Asa and Yoru's bond has been severed for good, or if Asa will manage to come back from her traumatic memories in time to fight.

But who is the Falling Devil, and who sends them? Will Chainsaw Man ever join the fight scene? Stay tuned to find out!
