Here's What Happened Before Chainsaw Man Chapter 116
In Chainsaw Man Chapter 115, most of the aquarium fish have died, and the group's morale couldn't be any lower.
When questioned by Asa, Iseumi confesses that he isn't actually Chainsaw Man and that he had a Chainsaw Man starter implanted in his body.
For his part, Denji -- the only one in the group who has had a similar experience before -- can't do much here, as the devil who has trapped them refuses to show up and fight.
Moreover, while Yoshida has a phone, he soon realizes that time must have stopped in the aquarium since no one has come looking for them yet.
In this anxious climate, Denji and Asa surprisingly bond, with the latter even confessing she was going to turn him into a weapon -- a reference Denji can't understand.
