Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO told a lot of stories during his appearance on Running Man.
After a long wait, fans finally saw Cha Eun Woo in a variety show again years after departing Master in the House. He never appeared in a variety show since then and focused on being an actor and K-pop idol instead.
But his recent comeback became buzzworthy as he spoke about his ex-girlfriend.
Cha Eun Woo Opens Up About Ex-Girlfriend
On Sunday, ASTRO members Cha Eun Woo, Moonbin, and Sanha joined the SBS variety show as guests.
In one segment of the May 22 episode, the cast members and guests played a game in which they needed to answer yes or no to questions. One of which was if they have ever begged an ex to take them back after getting dumped.
The My ID is Gangnam Beauty actor surprised everyone when he answered yes. Even Jeon So Min exclaimed who would dump the K-pop idol.
It turned out that it happened when he was in middle or high school. Per Cha Eun Woo, he once went to see his ex-girlfriend because he missed her. He then asked her if they could see each other again while crying.
"When I was in high school, I was dumped by my then-girlfriend. After she broke up with me, I cried and begged her to take me back,” he said, as quoted by SBS News.
After that encounter, they started dating again.
Cha Eun Woo Taking Marriage Seriously
Aside from his confession during his Running Man appearance, Cha Eun Woo once broke down while talking about marriage in Master in the House.
In one of the episodes of the show, they visited a couple who share a heartfelt real-life romance. At that time, Lee Seung Gi said a spouse is someone who stays on one’s side.
Upon hearing it, the K-pop idol became emotional as he proclaims he wants to get married. He disclosed the struggles in finding someone whom he can share anything with. He also wants someone who can accept him without looking at his background as an idol or marrying him just because of his visuals.
