The BIGBANG leader first worked with Jennie in the music video for That XX in 2012. At that time, they had already sparked dating rumors due to their flirty exchanges on the set.
It did not stop there as they also collaborated after that, selecting Jennie as the main star of his Black MV. But this time, she played a massive role as she also sang alongside the rapper.
In the years since then, the public spotted them more frequently until Dispatch – A South Korean trusted source of dating news – shared a photo of the BOOMBAYAH singer visiting the high-security penthouse of G-Dragon in Seoul.
However, their romance seemingly came to an end officially after G-Dragon reportedly unfollowed her.
G-Dragon Removes Jennie From His Following List Amid Her Dating Rumors With BTS V
An online community post (as shared by SBS News) recently went viral after G-Dragon seemingly unfollowed Jennie on his private Instagram page but still follows other BLACKPINK members.
It remains unknown why exactly he removed her from his following list. But it probably marked the end of their relationship as their agency, YG Entertainment, did not quite deny their dating rumors.

For what it’s worth, the agency shared a statement in 2021, saying that they could not confirm anything about their artists’ lives.
"We cannot confirm anything. We can't confirm anything about our artists' private lives. We ask for your understanding,” it said.
A source also told Dispatch that YG Entertainment employees had been aware of their relationship. Jennie’s mother also knew about it.
BLACKPINK Jennie Dating Someone Else?
The recent development might have officially confirmed G-Dragon’s past relationship with Jennie and her new romance with V.
On Sunday, a photo of the BTS member and Jennie being in one car together went viral. The uploader said they were traveling to Jeju Island together.
"Today's hot photo. I don't know if they're just lookalikes, but two top idol stars were spotted together on Jeju island. The top female idol was recently involved in break up rumors with a male OG idol, so fans are believing in this even more. I will keep the names hidden for now since it has not been confirmed as fact yet,” the caption said.
However, fans immediately started a debate over the authenticity of the photo as ARMYs pointed out that V’s photo was a screenshot from the boy group’s In the Soop. Meanwhile, others dismissed the findings as his hairstyle in the photo is different from what he sported in the show.
YG Entertainment shared a similar statement to the one it penned about G-Dragon and Jennie’s dating rumors, saying, “We have nothing to say [regarding this matter. We will inform you if we have a different response to share.”
HYBE and BIGHIT Music are yet to comment on the matter.
