Marvel isn't a fan of sending out spoilers, and ever since the beginning of Captain Marvel's promotional campaign, Jude Law's role has been kept under lock and key by the studio. Unfortunately, Disney made the mistake of naming the actor as the film's Mar-Vell, and while the Mickey Mouse House quickly deleted the name from the character's description, fans are still curious to know just who Law's going to be.
Captain Marvel star Brie Larson isn't of much help either. The actress knows just how secretive Marvel is being about Law's role, and so the actress takes to social media to tease the character on Instagram. Sharing a photo of her character Carol Danvers in training with Law, Larson eagerly teases fans with the caption "Special handshake? Mid-air arm wrestle? Who is Jude even playing?!! So many questions we will forever refuse to answer because it's fun to keep you antsy just a little bit longer"

While there are some who believe that Law is going to play Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel, many others suspect that the actor is going to take on the role of a villain by the name of Yon-Rogg, a Kree soldier jealous of the idealism and skill of Mar-Vell.
Right now Marvel's certainly keeping fans on their toes with Law's role up in the air. It's anyone's guess who Law really is going to be. Hopefully, everyone will extend their patience till Captain Marvel releases next year.
Captain Marvel makes its big debut on March 8, 2019.
