New Captain Marvel Footage To Drop During NCAA National Championship

We have already been blessed with two awesome trailers for Captain Marvel. However, it looks like Marvel Studios wants to keep us hooked on Carol Danvers' upcoming film. New footage from the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick is expected to drop at the NCAA Football National Championship in January.

The announcement was made through a 15-second promo shared on Twitter. The exclusive look is expected to air on ESPN during the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 7, 2019. Take a look at the brief promo below.

It is still unclear what we will see this January. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that there will be new footage from Captain Marvel and perhaps a confirmation about Jude Law's character in the film.

There has been much debate over Law's character since the Sherlock Holmes star was confirmed to appear in the movie. Although it is believed that he will portray Carol's mentor Mar-Vell in the film, the studio hasn't actually confirmed this yet. The official site even decided to remove a description of the character. Hopefully, everything will finally be revealed in the upcoming exclusive look.

Although the premiere of Captain Marvel is still a few months away, there are speculations that Carol's arrival could mean bad things for the Avengers. A recently revealed featurette teased on the possibility that Carol will take over as the leader of the Avengers, causing concern over Tony Stark's fate in Avengers: Endgame.

Captain Marvel is scheduled for release on March 8, 2019. Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
