Speaking with ComicBookMovie.com, Nelson opened up about his upcoming return as Samuel Sterns/The Leader in Captain America: Brave New World.

He hinted that his character will have a comic-accurate look as he shared that he spent hours on makeup while filming the MCU movie.

"Really excited. I had a great time filming it. And [I] worked with the Marvel team and this wonderful makeup artist named David Atherton with whom I've collaborated on a dozen movies now," Nelson said.

"I think people are going to be pretty excited about what this guy looks like. And what he has to say and what he does. All power to the amazing team over there at Marvel."

This is an exciting tease about the character's upcoming MCU return as the actor suggested that they are embracing the character's comic-accurate look.

In case you're not familiar, The Leader is known to have a tall forehead and green skin. That could be his physical look when we see him appear in the MCU movie.

As long as the makeup looks great on screen, fans might have no issue with the character's comic-accurate look in live-action and that could add to the gravitas of Nelson's performance as the villain.

Captain America: Brave New World is slated to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2025.
