Captain America 4 Receives Exciting Filming Update

During the D23 Expo last Saturday, one of the projects that Marvel Studios presented is the upcoming film Captain America: New World Order when the director and cast members showed up on stage to reveal more information about the movie including the surprising return of Tim Blake Nelson's The Leader in the movie.

During an interview with Collider after the presentation, director Julius Onah shared more details about the upcoming film where he revealed that they are going to start filming at the top of 2023 and are currently deep into pre-production as they're in preparation for the project.

"We’re already quite busy, putting everything together. As you know with these films, there are so many elements, between the cast and the script and the effects and the stunts. It’s really exciting to be really diving deep into it," Onah said.

It is exciting to hear that the cast and crew are already preparing for its production early next year and it just shows that they are indeed hard at work to bring Sam Wilson's exciting venture as Captain America to the big screen. We can assume that it's going to be an action-packed film just like the other previous projects surrounding the hero.

While the exact plot details are being kept under wraps, Onah said during the presentation that it's going to be a "paranoid thriller" which is similar to Captain America: The Winter Soldier and, in some ways, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The film will star Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, and Shira Haas. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier writers Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson are penning the screenplay.
