Capcom Already Teasing The Resident Evil 3 Remake?

Now that the Resident Evil 2 remake has garnered critical acclaim and, presumably, made all of the money, it seems like Capcom has decided to tease the Resident Evil 3 remake. While we don't get a trailer or gameplay video (maybe at E3?), Capcom has teased fans a bit on Twitter with some vague posts that have photos from some of their more recent re-releases.

The one that got a lot of fans talking was a post with an image from Resident Evil 2. We see Claire looking at a big hole in the police station, wondering what the hell just happened. Since the third game actually takes place before and during Resident Evil 2, many have assumed that Nemesis made the big hole.

It could also be Mister X, the hulking creature that haunts both Leon and Claire throughout Resident Evil 2, but it's way more fun to think that Nemesis did it.

Capcom did say that they would be focusing on remakes, remasters, and new installments to old franchises for the time being and that has worked thus far. Resident Evil 7 and Devil May Cry 5 were loved by both fans and critics, so a remake of Resident Evil 3 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

A new Onimusha or Viewtiful Joe game would also be nice. Come on Capcom…

Resident Evil 2 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
