Bumblebee Gets Awesome New Look For Transformers: The Last Knight

Transformers: The Last Knight director Michael Bay has been teasing fans about the movie ever since he announced the beginning of the movie's principal photography in Cuba. Now, the filmmaker is teasing not just the return of a fan-favorite Autobot, but its new dashing look as well.

Check out the new, upgraded Bumblebee:

As Bay said in the Tweet, the new Bumblebee is a Camaro custom-built by General Motors. Naturally, with a new look for the Bumblebe's car version, this also poses the possibility of an upgraded look for Bumblebee's robot form. It would make sense, since a Bumblebee solo film is included in the new Trasnformers sequel series.

With an Autobot getting an upgrade, it could also mean upgrade on the Decepticons. With Megatron returning again, this could pose a greater challenge for the Autobots and the movie's cast, including newcomer Isabela Moner. Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and Mark Wahlberg. Then again, we might see a new slate of villains joining the fold, and I'm sure fans would be very open to that possibility.

There remains little detail regarding The Last Knight's plot, but we do know that it will see Optimus Prime on a mission to search for his race's creators.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
