Fans and BTS’s RM can’t help but react to the chief monk of Hwaeomsa’s move of talking to the press and revealing what they had discussed after the idol visited the Buddhist temple in Gurye, Jeollanam-do in December.

The monks reportedly interviewed various media outlets after meeting RM, and its leader, Deok Mun, revealed he had a “deep and serious” conversation with the rapper about several topics. This surprised the singer-songwriter, who was not expecting the monks to tell others about their private discussion without his permission or consent.

"I appreciated the time that you took to talk with me, but who knew you would be going to reporters about it,” he wrote.

"Next time, I will visit a different temple in quiet privacy,” he continued.

Of course, fans can’t also help but react to the issue, questioning the monks’ actions.

"How the heck is he supposed to go to anyone for deep advice if even Buddhist monks go straight to reporters after he visits them?" one fan asked, per AllKpop.

"I can't imagine how betrayed he felt after he probably opened up about really deep and personal topics,” another said.

"What fake and materialistic monks...,” a netizen accused.
