BTS’s Jin Prepares for The Astronaut’s Release: Drops First Concept Photos; Flies to Join Coldplay

BTS’s Jin is now busy preparing for his upcoming solo single, “The Astronaut.” After the K-pop idol dropped its first set of concept photos, he flew to Argentina to debut and perform his new track with Coldplay in a concert.

Jin has been dropping little teasers for “The Astronaut.” So, what do these concept photos feature this time?

BTS’s Jin’s Concept Photos for Solo Single ‘The Astronaut’

In a post on Instagram on Sunday, October 23, BTS’s agency, HYBE, gave its followers and the K-pop star’s fans a good look to promote his much-awaited solo single.

“The photos titled ‘Outlander’ give out the captivating charm of Jin,” a statement from the company read. “The universe-like set with planet-shaped props and Jin’s outfit provide fans room to imagine the mood and story of the song.”

All three images show Jin wearing a loose-collared white dress shirt paired with a black tie and matching jacket. He strikes a pose against a starry blue background, while the third image finds him in the middle of green shrubbery and pale blue sky while being surrounded by plants.

He also holds what looks appears to be a large Jupiter-like sphere.

BTS’s Jin Drops Three More Solo Songs

To excite fans more, Jin also dropped three more solo songs on Friday, October 21.

The tracks in question are “Super Tuna,” “Abyss,” and “Tonight.” Although these songs were already released between 2019 and 2021, it was only now that they became available across streaming services aside from BTS’s SoundCloud and YouTube channels.

Jin co-wrote “The Astronaut” with Coldplay and is set to release the song at midnight on Friday, October 28. It will also come with music and lyric videos.

BTS’s Jin Flies to Argentina

Meanwhile, Jin was reportedly bound for Buenos Aires, Argentina, after being spotted at the Incheon International Airport on Monday, October 24.

According to reports, he will be joining Coldplay at their concert on October 28, the same day he will drop “The Astronaut,” which he will perform at the event.
