BTS V is now on a hot seat after photos of him smoking backstage at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards leaked online. Though Kim Taehyung remains mum about it, he recently shuts down a fan’s advice not to get a tattoo.
V seemed unable to control himself and answered a fan who asked him to get his skin inked. However, his followers should never get him wrong, as the K-pop star said it in the nicest way.
V Slams Down a Fan
V went online on WeVerse on April 6 and interacted with some fans. One of them told him, “Don’t get tattoos!” to which he politely replied.
"I'll deal with that on my own,” he said, via AllKpop. He then admitted he was considering having matching tattoos with other BTS members, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin and Jungkook.
“I did often talk about getting a friendship tattoo with the members all the time,” he continued. "We will get a friendship tattoo someday. Please look forward to it.”

Teen Vogue added V wanted to put it in a place where fans could see it and revealed getting matching tattoos was Suga’s idea.
However, it looks like fans are divided about this plan. One fan noticed V seemed to be trying to win over his fans all the time.
Some sided with the group, saying the decision to get their body inked was up to them. Others even claim he just shows how strong his personality is and even call him the captain of WeVerse communication.
"They're all grown adults, so it's not like they have to get permission from their fans for every little thing, so he's right in saying that,” one fan explained. “Even if you're a celebrity, you should say what you have to say."

No matter what they say, V has “respectfully and intelligently” drawn the line for their followers.
In fact, body art is now new for some of the BTS members. Jimin already has a number of tattoos on his body.
Jungkook, too, has a tattoo sleeve on his right arm. If they indeed get matching tattoos, many will try to imitate them.

Meanwhile, fans are also divided about V’s smoking issues. For starters, pictures of him puffing a cigarette backstage at the Grammys started circulating online.
He was still wearing his Grammys outfit of a violet-brown suit while holding a cigarette. He was clearly unaware of the camera taking his photos while enjoying his stick.

Speculations swirled about the event before BTS performed “Butter” on stage, per Economic Times. Some fans felt mad at the K-pop idol for making a bad habit, while others defended him.
They said V is already 26, a grown-up man who could do whatever he wanted.
