From being the most-streamed Korean OST on Spotify in 2020, V's song Sweet Night garnered another milestone on the music platform.

The Itaewon Class' OST officially surpassed Chanyeol and Punch's Stay With Me for the 2016 hit drama series, Goblin. To be exact, BTS V's Sweet Night currently has 169,829,506, while Stay With Me has 169,711,543.

Following the milestone, fans trended #SNMostStreamedKOST on Twitter, and even the hashtag itself surpassed record-breaking 100,000 tweets.

Some fans also noted V scored the feat without any promotional materials – no MV feature and no links. They applauded V's talent in producing a song that left a soft spot in people's hearts.

Surprisingly, the BTS member once admitted that Sweet Night was supposed to be used for his mixtape. He told Rolling Stone about the song's backstory and how he chose to release the song for Park Seo Joon.

BTS V did not disappoint as the song also caught attention outside Spotify.

Sweet Night is the first and only song in history to reach number one in 118 countries on the iTunes chart. He definitely beat Hollywood's best musicians, including Adele and Taylor Swift.

In January, the OST also won the Popularity Award at APAN STAR AWARDS 2021. He was not able to get the award personally, but he did not forget to thank his fans for making the feat happen.

V and the BTS members are scheduled to hold their first in-person tour this year. They are also set to launch Permission To Dance On Stage in Los Angeles.
