BTS V might land a special project soon as Kurt Elling raised his desire to work with the Kpop idol.

BTS's list of collaborators keeps on growing as more western artists want to perform with them for a song or two. Even before reaching Hollywood, BTS members had already recorded songs with international artists.

For what it's worth, RM worked with Mandy Ventrice for the Fantastic Four soundtrack, Fantastic. The other members also had their names appear together with foreign musicians like Steve Aoki, Ed Sheeran, rapper Wale, The Chainsmokers, and Fall Out Boy, to name a few.

This time, BTS member V caught a jazz singer's attention.

The ARMYs' hype began when a commenter left a comment on one of his Instagram posts. The internet user, whose display picture is V, said that she and his father are fans of him. After discovering that the BTS member also listens to him, the user asked whether a collaboration is possible between them.

"Hope you're having a wonderful day Sir, I am a big fan of yours, and my dad too, and since I got to know that @bts.bighitofficial member Kim Taehyung also known as V, love you music and you shared it too, I've been waiting for an interaction or a collab between both of you. I really pray sir one day, you will work with Kim Taehyun who looks upto you," the fan said.

Elling, who is seemingly a fan of BTS, replied and said he currently hopes the same.

V himself disclosed in an interview with Variety that he is a fan of the Grammy winner. At that time, the K-pop idol described the musician as someone who "has the vibes" he really likes. He also said he would like to collaborate with him soon.

Before BTS reached its current place, Elling already went through that and got recognition from different awards shows.

As of the writing, Elling boasts 14 Grammy nominations and won two of them. The jazz singer particularly won Best Vocal Jazz Album in 2009, and a most recent recognition with his Secrets Are The Best Stories.

After Elling, V will indeed find himself in songs with his other "inspirations," like Arctic monkeys. The BTS member still sees the late singers Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Sam Cooke as people who influence him, although they have already passed away.
