BTS V and the other members of the K-pop boy group opened a new way to interact with ARMYs.
BTS announced its highly-anticipated break after non-stop concerts and appearances in South Korea and abroad this month. They extended their vacation after completing BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA and the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour.
Although fans knew the idols needed to be far from their screens temporarily to recharge themselves, some also felt sad and down since they would not be able to get their Daily Dose of BTS while the supergroup is away. But surprisingly, the members created their Instagram accounts to connect with their fans, and V has been slaying everything on the platform already.

BTS V Breaks New Instagram Record After 13 Days
On Monday, fans noted that V – whose real name is Kim Tae Hyung – officially became the Most Followed Male K-pop idol on the social networking site in just 13 days. The BTS member, who now has 26.8 million followers as of press time, beat GOT7 member Jackson Wang's 26.5 million followers.
Fans immediately sent their congratulatory messages to V after scoring the record despite being on vacation. But it was not the first time he officially set a new record on Instagram, though.

Previously, the Guinness World Records confirmed that the 25-year-old K-pop idol broke two social media records – the fastest Individual to reach 1 million and 10 million on Instagram.
The official website of the world record monitor noted that V immediately got 1 million followers within 43 minutes, then reached the 10 million mark after 4 hours and 52 minutes. He dethroned NCT's Moon Taeil, who once beat the former record holders, Rupert Grint and Jennifer Aniston.
Meanwhile, the other members also got more than 20 million followers each.
V Leaves Little To The Imagination
V is indeed using the platform in the rightest way possible.
Over the weekend, he left fans thirsty and hot after uploading a shirtless photo of him and his growing facial hair. He shared the social media posts on the final day of his self-quarantine.
While he already deleted the post, some lucky fans were able to download it and share them with other ARMYs.
Unfortunately, fans would not be able to see a bearded-Kim Tae Hyung anytime soon as he revealed on Weverse he would maintain a clean-shaven look again.
