The athletic idol debuted with BTOB in 2012 with the first single "Insane" and proved his talent as a rapper, vocalist, and one of the group’s genius composers.
Going by the stage name HUTA, Minhyuk released his solo Korean album HUTAZONE in January 2019. The solo debut self-composed album consists of eleven tracks, including a feature with fellow BTOB member Sungjae and (G) I-DLE leader Jeon So Yeon.

On November 1, Cube Entertainment, BTOB’s agency, unveiled a teaser image, announcing Minhyuk’s digital single "Good Night."
The image contains an aesthetic view of the stars and the moon's shine that are likely to pour down on a dim room. This further created a mysterious night sky atmosphere that actively caught the eye of every fan, particularly the curiosity of what’s expected to feed their eyes and ears.
Fans have noted that Minhyuk's exquisite lyrical sense will be seen in the digital single "Good Night," as the idol is known for being creative in his lyrics.

Moreover, Minhyuk has recently released the special album 4U: OUTSIDE with the other members of BTOB. Released in August, the album proved its incredible popularity, not only in South Korea but globally.
4U: OUTSIDE, specifically, topped 12 regions around the world in the iTunes Top Album category, as well as dominated domestic music charts.
Meanwhile, BTOB Minhyuk’s digital single "Good Night" will be released on various online music sites on November 5, 2021, at 6:00 PM KST.
Minhyuk is also actively hosting his radio show, Kiss The Radio, through KBS CoolFM. He had replaced DAY6 YoungK as the show's host, as the latter had just started his mandatory military enlistment.
