Brie Larson Admits Fear in Joining Marvel Amid Rumored Diva Behavior

The Marvels star Brie Larson hasn’t been in the MCU that long, and yet the Captain Marvel actress has always been accused of problematic issues, mostly surrounding her image as an actress on how she handles work on set. Amid her rumored diva behavior, Larson has opened up on her hesitancy in joining Marvel.

“You do press at certain times, not when you’re lost. Not when you’re questioning yourself. [Not telling] the whole story of what it is to be a human, not even close.” Larson admitted in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, “Anytime I feel like I’m being put too much on a pedestal, it’s my job to figure out how to remove that within myself.”

The most recent rumor Larson’s name had been involved in was surrounding the delay of The Marvels. Initially, the rumor was more leaning towards an issue in fixing the VFX for better quality for the film. However, somehow, Larson’s name circulated as insiders claimed she had been causing drama on the set of The Marvels.

Apparently, Larson did not like the idea of having to share the spotlight with co-stars Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris). However, fans were quite relieved to have later on found out that rumor had been debunked, rendering the rumor null and void.

The Hollywood life remains a blunder to most actors and artists in working for their dream jobs. Though Larson’s words aren’t exactly new in the industry, her words ring truer than ever. No matter how unfortunate rumors end up planting their names, their job involves having to separate themselves from the issue, turn their head away until it subsides.

For now, Brie Larson reprises her role as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel in The Marvels, which is set to premiere in theaters on November 10.
