The past five years have been very difficult for Brad Pitt. Following his divorce from Angelina Jolie in 2015, the actor has been fighting for joint custody of his children. But until today, he still, reportedly, has limited access to his five minor kids.
Star, in its Nov. 8 issue, claimed that Brad Pitt wants nothing more than to hang out with Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13. So, it was heartbreaking for him to see all five of his children with their mom at the red carpet premiere for The Eternals.

Brad Pitt Has Limited Time With His Children
It's been years since Pitt was photographed with his children. After all, most of their reunions take place in private as part of the actor and Jolie’s agreement. Pitt also prefers to hang out with his kids at home due to some privacy concerns.
An unnamed source said that the exes’ arrangement seemingly changed in recent years because Pitt can only see his children when Jolie is not around.
“He’ll get to see them when she’s filming or doing her humanitarian work,” the unnamed source said.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s Children Are Forced To Take Sides
However, Pitt isn’t the only one who’s struggling amid his custody battle with Jolie. Even his five children are having a hard time because they are, allegedly, forced to take sides.
Unfortunately for the Ocean’s Eleven actor, no one chose him out of his five minor children.
“Maddox dropped Pitt from his name, so that’s a pretty good indication of whose side he’s on. He’s very protective of his mom and hasn’t spoken to his dad in years,” the source said.
Brad Pitt and Jolie’s three minor children get to spend the most time with their dad. But the unnamed source suggested that if Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox had a choice, they would’ve also opted out of seeing the actor.

“Pax and Zahara are definitely on Angelina’s side, and they’re very close to their mom. They see their dad but it’s a different relationship now and more strained. They [Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox] adore Brad, but they spend more time with Angelina. They feel bad that she’s stressed all the time because of this court case,” the source said.
The Exes Are Still Fighting Over The Custody Of Their Kids
Since Pitt and Jolie’s custody battle hasn’t been resolved, the terms of their agreement haven’t also been disclosed to the public.
In May, Pitt was granted joint custody of his children with Jolie, and this would’ve provided him with more time to be with his kids. The new arrangement also tentatively split the actor’s legal custody of his children equally with Jolie, according to NBC News.
However, Jolie filed a motion to have the judge on their case removed. She said that there was a conflict of interest because Judge John W. Ouderkirk did not inform the court about his professional relationship with the actor’s lawyers.

Last week, the California Supreme Court denied Pitt’s request to review his custody case with Jolie. This means that the exes are back to square one when it comes to their children’s custody.
Despite the exes’ ongoing battle, Pitt and Jolie have been adamant at saying that their children are their priority.

While speaking with Vogue, the Maleficent actress explained her decision to divorce her ex-husband.
“It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing. Some have taken advantage of my silence, and the children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds. In fact, they are six very brave, very strong young people,” she said.
Brad Pitt Wants The Best For His Kids
As for Pitt, the actor supports all his children even from a distance.
“He supports the kids and what makes them happy. They are old enough now where they can make decisions and he doesn’t stand in the way. He’s encouraged them to be whoever they want to be. He wouldn’t ask for anything different,” a source told E! News.
