In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 278, titled Musical Chairs, the survivors are arguing and Boruto is trying his best to calm everyone down, which resulted in them opening up to one another.

Ouga cuts their conversation off by making them choose the next experiment.

Meanwhile, Sarada goes to Kawaki to ask for help on the case, while Mitsuki continues to investigate.

At the same time, Boruto and the other survivors find themselves in a sealed room with a spiked ceiling that slowly goes down on them.

Boruto tries to look for a way out and he realizes that the floor beneath them can be broken since it is thin enough.

Their plan to break the floor is successful, and they safely get out of the room alive. Ouga then praises them for being resourceful.

Afterward, a Hidden Cloud kunoichi named Batta confides in Boruto her suspicions about the mole who may have been working with Ouga.
