Viz Media and Shueisha recently released a new chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, titled Hide and Seek, focusing on Kawaki's confrontation with Code, but fans of the shonen manga series by Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto have also noticed some interesting details about another villain, fueling speculation about her powers.
In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 62, Eida is providing intel for Code to locate Kawaki, who managed to escape Konoha's surveillance by erasing his chakra. Although the depths of her power are still unknown, the beautiful cyborg was revealed to have the power of Senrigan, which gives her the ability to perceive everything that is currently happening in the world and all that has happened in the past, up to the point she was born.
Her incredible clairvoyant ability made it possible for Code to find Kawaki's whereabouts right away, but fans have also noticed a few details about how Eida's powers actually work.
Twitter user ZeroisGodLike shared an interesting theory: What if Eida and Daemon's powers are linked somehow? In the latest chapter, Daemon is asleep when Code is chasing kawaki, and when he awakens, Eida insisted for him to go back to sleep immediately. The theory speculates that Eida's powers work mainly when Daemon is asleep, and Daemon's power works when Eida is awake.
This brings up the question: Why did Eida not sense Boruto approaching and warn Code? Was it because Daemon was already waking up, preventing her from doing so? Or is it because she's infatuated with Kawaki? Or is it because she's only limited to focusing on one thing at a time? Boruto Chapter 60 teased the secrets of Eida and Daemon's powers, but for now, fans can only speculate the depths of their abilities.
