Despite Yoichi's successful block of Bachira's goal, the ball landed on Rin Itoshi's feet, where he scored the game's winning goal.

While the white team is mourning their defeat, Rin surprises his teammates by selecting Yoichi from the losing team.

Rin felt defeated in the final play of the game due to Yoichi's vision, which he failed to read, which is why he decided not to let Yoichi sink back down.

Rin also wants Yoichi by his side as he strives to become the best striker in the world.

Yoichi, on the other hand, can't wrap his head around Rin picking him off the losing team.

He tried to apologize to his teammates, but all three of them want him to shut up and just keep moving forward with Rin and his team because that's just how it is.

While Nagi, Barou, and Chigiri are restless, Yoichi enters the winner's gate and is greeted by Aryu, Tokimitsu, and Bachira.

Bachira starts a conversation with Yoichi regarding the time they went their separate ways.

Because of the time they spent apart, Bachira is able to fight alone and realizes that the only person who can save him is himself.

Yoichi also confronts Rin about the factor that caused him to lose the previous match. Much to Yoichi's chagrin, Rin responds that it was luck and not a coincidence in the game.

Jinpachi, as a reward for winning the match, tries to explain the importance of luck in the game by using bizarre examples such as being shat on by pigeons or winning a consolation prize in a festival game.

Jinpachi explains that luck does not appear randomly; it comes to those who place themselves in its path, just like in the field. Consider soccer to be a series of unavoidable coincidences.

Everyone in Blue Lock has inevitabilities, and when they collide with those of their opponent, whether they like it or not, a coincidence occurs, and it becomes the starting point for luck.

Without a doubt, luck was the deciding factor in the previous game. However, if Rin fails to act, even if he has luck on his side, it will be for naught, and the opportunity will be lost.

Finally, Jinpachi advises everyone that the Goddess of Fortune only smiles at those who can detect luck.

He also asked everyone to learn to accept and remember the outcomes of coincidences. After all, fortune favors those who give their all in battle.

Yoichi concludes that the distinction between him and Rin is their willingness to accept fate in both victory and defeat.

To defeat Rin, Yoichi must incorporate the element of luck into his thought process and create a new version of himself.

Now that they’ve passed the second selection, they will play against the world’s five players in 24 hours. In the quarters, everyone reviews the information of their opponents.

The first is Leonardo Luna of the Spain National Team; the second is Adam Blake of the England National Team; the third is Pablo Cabassos of the Argentina National Team; the fourth is Dada Silva of the Brazil National Team; and the last is Julian Loki, a child prodigy of the France National Team.

Yoichi bothers Rin, who is doing his aftercare yoga and meditation in the training room.

He inquired about Rin's relationship with his brother, which he suspected was strained.

Rin responds that it was an awkward but healthy relationship that could be resolved if he beat his brother.

Yoichi wishes to regard Rin as a rival, but the latter refuses, claiming that he is nothing like that.

Rin also strikes a yoga pose that says, "You'll never beat me," just to insult Yoichi.

As a result, Yoichi attempted to imitate Rin's pose, and they collided.

The third selection begins with a match between the World's Five and Rin Itoshi's team.

The World's Five begin insulting Rin's team, mocking each and every one of them, but Rin refuses to let it go and begins to speak in English, earning the respect of his teammates.

However, one of the World's Five recognizes him as Itoshi Sae's younger brother, which irritates Rin.

The game begins, and Bachira is able to get past Pablo Cabassos thanks to his super-egoistic dribbling.

Yoichi adjusts to Bachira's new play style, but the latter only inspires him by passing a whipped cross to Rin, who scores the game's first goal.
