The battle continues this July. The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 release date has finally been announced through an exciting teaser featuring the new opening theme by w.o.d.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 New Teaser Previews w.o.d.'s Opening Theme
Aniplex's official YouTube channel shared the new teaser for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 which opens with Uryu Ishida in a Quincy meeting where he is appointed the new successor. Meanwhile, the Soul Reapers are also gearing up for the fight with Ichigo Kurasaki.
The teaser is certainly an action-packed preview of things to come as the Soul Reapers face off against the Quincies. All the action is backed up perfectly by the song STARS performed by w.o.d. which will serve as the new opening theme.
w.o.d's involvement in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is an interesting one considering that mangaka Tite Kubo had previously admitted to being a fan of the group. However, his preference was not a factor in the group being chosen to perform the new opening theme.
The second part of the anime's final season will also introduce some new characters. Aoi Yuki has been cast as Liltotto, Tsuyoshi Koyama will play Gerald, Soichiro Hoshi will portray Nianzol, and Nao Toyama is Giselle.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 is currently one of the most anticipated anime of the summer following the success of the first part of the final season.
Viz Media has also confirmed that the second part of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime will premiere in the United States on Hulu. The second cour will be available in Latin America on Star+. For select countries, the anime will be streamed on Disney+ on the same day as its Japanese release.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will serve as the final season of the anime which also adapts the last chapters of Tite Kubo's manga. The first part of the final season premiered in October last year.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 premieres on July 8, 2023.
