Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has brought back fan-favorite characters of Tite Kubo's shonen series after the anime's long hiatus. With the war waged by the Wandenreich army, the most popular Soul Reapers have stepped up to fight the Yhwach and his powerful Sternritter group, but it's not just the Shinigami and the Quincy getting screentime in the new Bleach anime. The Arrancar have also been featured in the first episodes, and now, the anime is teasing the return of a member of the former Espada.

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, the Arrancar who was the Sexta (6th) Espada in Sōsuke Aizen's affiliated army, might soon be returning in the anime series soon.

Twitter user Nomi Matsu recently shared a clip hinting at the Arrancar's return and revealing that he was the one to save Ichigo and his friends from one of the most dangerous members of the Wandenreich army.

It's likely that Grimmjow was the one who killed Quilge Opie, the Sternritter member who trapped Ichigo Kurosaki in his reishi jail. We'll likely see Grimmjow's return soon enough.
