A surprising news will be dropped by Bleach in the upcoming Jump Fiesta 2022 happening this weekend and it will be about the triumphant return of Ichigo Kurosaki in a new anime for the final arc, the Thousand Blood War, and it seems like it will be continuing the story which ended prior to that event almost a decade ago.
Jump Fiesta 2022: Jump Super Stage EX will be held this year at the Chiba Prefecture’s Makuhari center and it will be an in-person event. No need to worry for fans around the world as exciting anime announcements happening in the event will also be streamed online. One of the most awaited news to drop is about Bleach which will be making a comeback after almost a decade of hiatus.
Bleach recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and it is expected that the announcement on Jump Fiesta 2022 will be the speculated release date of Bleach’s return which is rumored to be in October 2022. Fans are even waiting for some visuals as they have waited long enough for the return of Ichigo Kurosaki.
Bleach has been a household name in manga and when it got an anime adaptation from Pierrot, its popularity grew even more, making it one of the best-selling titles of all time. The manga of Tite Kubo was first released in 2001 and concluded in 2016 with 74 chapters which were serialized on the Weekly Shōnen Jump, and as for the anime series, it started in 2004 before closing the curtains in 2012.
Bleach follows teenager Ichigo Kurosaki who inherited the destiny of his parents he never saw coming – getting the powers of the Soul Reaper, a similar to the Grim Reaper, from one Rukia Kichiki. His new abilities allowed him to defend humanity from evil spirits and he also guides the souls of the departed to the afterlife bringing him to different ghostly realms of existence.
