Blade Will Reportedly Appear in Marvel's Werewolf by Night Halloween Special

One of the many upcoming MCU projects that are in the works for Disney+ is the Werewolf by Night Halloween special which will feature the debut of the titular character in the franchise. For the past few weeks, we've been hearing some details about the special including the casting of Vampire by Night and the director. Now, it looks like a prominent character is set to appear in the special as well.

According to The Cosmic Circus, Blade is set to appear in Marvel's Werewolf by Night Halloween special. They didn't specify how the character will appear whether it's Mahershala Ali physically showing up or just a voice appearance similar to the post-credits scene of Eternals. We do have to take note that this didn't come from the major trades nor officially confirmed by Marvel Studios so we have to take it with a grain of salt.

If Blade is indeed going to be appearing in Werewolf by Night, it is not surprising since it looks like the MCU is building up its supernatural side and the character seems to be doing a Nick Fury-type of role which was kind of established when he showed up at the end of Eternals. Werewolf by Night is obviously a supernatural character and we might see Blade recruiting him to potentially be part of the Midnight Sons.

The MCU is slowly establishing the supernatural side starting with Agatha Harkness and the introduction of Darkhold in WandaVision. Kit Harington's Dane Whitman was also introduced in Eternals and it was hinted during the post-credits scene that he is set to become Black Knight in the future. Moon Knight is set to debut this month on Disney+ which will also explore the supernatural side starring the titular hero.

Blade's potential next appearance in Werewolf by Night is happening ahead of his solo film which is set to begin production this year. Ali's casting as the vampire hunter was announced during the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con and his solo project has long been in the works with significant development happening in the past several months.
