BLACKPINK is currently one of the best K-pop groups and their label, YG Entertainment, ensures that the members also get individual spotlights outside the group.
For instance, Jisoo currently flies high in the TV industry. Before BLACKPINK debuted, she appeared in several music videos and TV series that honed her skills as an actress.
She first had cameos in three TV series – The Producers, Part-Time Idols, and Arthdal Chronicles – before landing the lead role in the hit JTBC series, Snowdrop. Although she still has a long road to tread as an actress, the K-pop idol revealed that her career in the acting industry already helped her unleash different sides of herself.

BLACKPINK Jisoo Discovers More Sides of Herself Due To Acting
Jisoo recently graced the cover of Vogue for its April issue. After the photoshoot, the idol sat down for an interview during the wee hours of the day. Although she wrapped the shoot at 1:00 a.m., she still showed her playful side as usual.
According to BLACKPINK Jisoo, she finds it fun to be part of the fashion industry since it helps her discover new sides of herself while gaining confidence. But aside from modeling, she also credited her acting experience as something that led her to more growth.

“I met a lot of new people. I learned that something obvious to me can be a completely unfamiliar question to others and that we can have the same thoughts and concerns, even if we work in different fields. I guess I could say that my perspective of the world has gotten wider?” she said.
Jisoo said that, while acting, she is able to focus more on herself. Acting, for her part, let her live freely and happily while looking at herself even more. As a result, she started cherishing herself a little more.
Jisoo Lands More Career Opportunities
Aside from acting and modeling, Jisoo scored another project as she has been hailed as the new ambassador for the role-playing game, MapleStory.
Nexon, as reported by SportsKeeda, appointed the singer as the official 2022 ambassador. Jisoo then became the second ambassador the game ever had after Olympic archer Kim Jae Duk. The athlete has also been playing the game for a long time.
The developer has since released a teaser video featuring Jisoo as a MapleStory user and an interview video in its Log Off Lives series.
