BLACKPINK Jennie shared a powerful video to promote self-care.

Although BLACKPINK has not released a new album in the past months, its members have been busy with their respective promotions and projects.

For Jennie’s part, she has been attending several events in South Korea and abroad, including the 2022 F/W Paris Fashion Week and Chanel Fall-Winter 2022/23.

Due to her hectic schedule, her fans felt worried that she might not have enough time to take care of herself. But the SOLO singer recently spoke about it and the habit she wants to get rid of.

BLACKPINK Jennie Wants To Change Something on Herself

Jennie recently uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel. Titled Jennie’s Selfcare Routines, the K-pop idol started sharing how she takes care of herself every day.

She also took her time to reflect on the habit she wants to break – using her phone before bed.

According to Jennie, she has been using her phone before going to bed for a long time. But recently, she seemingly realized that it is time to remove that.

"I loved using my phone in bed before sleep, it's just too fun that I couldn't stop myself from doing it for ages. Nowadays, though, I purposely turn my phone off during that time. Instead of using my phone, I would watch a movie or listen to music,” she said. "I'm definitely trying to spend less time on my phone these days, but honestly, watching YouTube before bed is the best."

While working on getting rid of that habit, Jennie continues to focus on herself and perform care routines.

Aside from breaking bad habits, Jennie also takes her time to focus on improving herself.

Before getting back from work, she always removes her makeup so she can shower right away once she arrives home. From there, she dries herself as fast as possible to get her much-needed rest.

She noted that quick self-care only happens during busy days. But when she is available, she does more things for herself.

“But when I'm not very busy like that, I stretch my body to relax my muscles upon arriving home. I use massagers to massage my face and head as well. Before sleep, I apply stress-relieving natural oils on my body. I usually put on some citrus-based oil, because I like the scent of citrus,” she went on.

Jennie reportedly completes the routine by listening to music before falling asleep.
