Kim So Hyun has been out of the spotlight for more than a year despite being an in-demand actress in the past decade.

Kim So Hyun is among the child stars in South Korea who continuously received the spotlight in her career. Since 2006, she has appeared in several films and series, including Moon, Embracing the Sun, Who Are You: School 2015, Love Alarm, Tale of Nokdu, and River Where the Moon Rises.

Her popularity also led her to earn several nicknames like Nation’s Little Sister, Goddess of Historical Drama, Queen of Child Actresses, and Sageuk Goddess.

She first joined the company in January 2021, with the actress expressing her excitement over her new beginning through a statement.

Culture Deport is home to several A-listers – Jun Ji Hyun, Seo Ji Hye, Yun Ji On, and Yoon Ji Min. However, Kim Soo Hyun has not reached their milestones yet as she only got one drama under the company so far.

She previously appeared in the historical drama River Where the Moon Rises, which earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards.

After its stint, she has been remaining low-key as she never appeared in variety shows or programs.

Kim So Hyun Might Follow Kim Ji Won

Because of her absence, she might reportedly experience what Kim Ji Won went through under S.A.L.T. Entertainment.

She first signed a contract with them in February 2020 but sparked rumors last year that she might leave the company due to the same issue. So far, Kim Ji Won has not had any dramas except for the Lovestruck In The City.

Kim Ji Won worked hard on her own to score a role in My Liberation Notes. With that, she ultimately left the company after her contract expired.
