Kim Jong Kook did not impress everyone in the recent episode of Running Man.
For more than a decade, Kim Jong Kook has been showing that he has an edge in every physical challenge in the hit variety show. He has also been known for his buffed and muscular physique that can make his co-stars and guest stars a little nervous when they go against him.
Recently, he seemingly showed a character that made Running Man viewers feel uncomfortable.

Kim Jong Kook Condemned Due to Excessive Concept in Running Man
During the June 5 episode of Running Man, the members and guest stars competed to win the Stock Investment Geniuses episode.
The first mission of the program was Private Lesson for Employees. As usual, they were divided into teams, and Kim Jong Kook ended up teaming up with Song Ji Hyo and HaHa. The program allowed them to study before the quiz.

However, Kim Jong Kook suddenly made unnecessary complaints, according to the viewers, when Yoo Jae Suk’s team got the correct answer and took the lead.
He was also caught slapping and threatening the other team’s members. Kim Jong Kook then approached Ji Seok Jin and kicked the chair next to the comedian.
Following the broadcast, viewers immediately expressed their concerns on Korean online communities.
Kim Jong Kook Should Not Play Gangster Concept, Per Fans
One internet user shared the clip alongside the caption, “Many people are showing negative reactions for Kim Jong-kook in this scene of today’s Running Man broadcast.”
One explained, “The members are close to each other, but to the viewers, teasing the Ji Seok-jin, the oldest member, like that is too excessive. When Lee Kwang-soo was still in the show, he (Kim Jong-kook) annoyingly grabbed Lee Kwang-soo and teased him many times. Since Kwang-soo left, I think he has changed his target to Ji Seok-jin.”
His fans, meanwhile, quickly defended him and said that Running Man is a variety show, and things like those happen almost all the time.
