Angela Bassett delivered a stunning performance as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and in a Marvel podcast she speaks up and shares what it is like being a woman of Wakanda as she leads the nation in the wake of her son, T'Challa.

The leader of Wakanda and the mother of the nation, Queen Ramonda, has done everything in her power to keep Wakanda afloat following the demise of her son, T'Challa, and in a Marvel podcast, actress Angela Bassett opens up on the experience of being a woman of Wakanda.

In the Women of Marvel podcast episode, Women of Wakanda, Angela Bassett, who plays her highness of Wakanda, Queen Ramonda, graced the podcast sharing, "Black Panther -- it means growing up in a place where everywhere you look, there is nurturing, there's protection, there's love."

Bassett, on being a woman of Wakanda, added, "There's familiarity, respect, and resilience. It's about being excellent in all ways and in all manners."

When T'Challa died in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever due to an unknown sickness, Queen Ramonda took the challenge of leading Wakanda, protecting it, and propelling its perspective on helping others, whilst being a grieving mother after the loss of her son.

Such a burden may be too heavy to carry but Queen Ramonda managed to go through it even if she still has to look after Shuri who was also grieving the loss of her brother. Truly, she proved what it is like to be a mother to her children and to the whole of Wakanda.

Marvel fans laud the stunning performance of Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with her impeccable delivery of the character with a heartfelt touch that every word she utters have weight and you could feel her internal struggles while she tries to stay strong and stand tall amidst the threats.

With everything that happened, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stood to the promise of honoring the legacy of Chadwick Boseman, at the same time, moving forward with a new perspective with Shuri as the new Black Panther and the arrival of the future of Wakanda with Toussaint.
