Bang Chan Calls Out New Generation of Idols for Lacking Basic Manners: Is the Stray Kids Leader Referring to IVE?

Stray Kids' leader Bang Chan called out people from the new generation for lacking basic manners by not greeting others in the 208th episode of his weekly show Chan's Room. So, is he referring to someone?

Bang Chan may only be 25, but he feels older than his peers due to what he noticed lack of discipline. Though he didn't drop any names, fans believed he was referring to IVE.

Bang Chang Complains About People Lacking Discipline

During the show, the idol said everyone he was close with and people he knew and shared times with was fine, per AllKpop.

"But I guess some people that I don't know, I guess, were kinda like that," he added. "But maybe that could be the reason why. Because there's no connection."

Fans quickly thought he was referring to IVE, as it was the only group with whom he seemed not to have a close connection during the Music Bank in Paris.

Why Do Fans Think Bang Chan Refers to IVE?

The K-pop star has been known for often discussing his friendships with his fellow idols, like ENHYPEN's Jake, AB6IX's Woong, and Daehwi.

He even praised ENHYPEN for being respectful.

He has been friends with Woong and Daehwi since they were trainees; their close bond was evident in Paris.

Stray Kids have also been friends with The Boyz since they appeared on Kingdom together, while Bang Chan and Hyunjae even went to the movies together.

Though Mamamoo, Stray Kids' sunbaes, are not part of the "new generation" Bang Chan mentioned, Stray Kids also admires the group.

Lastly, NMIXX members, a junior group under JYPE, are all friends with the lead vocalist and even supported them during their performance in Paris.

So, as IVE seemed to be the only group that hasn't developed any connection with Bang Chan, fans strongly believe its members are whom he called rude.
