The apparent suicide of a promising trot singer named A left fans confused.

Her personal YouTube channel's comment section was turned private several days after news of her passing emerged, and she even ran errands a day before her alleged death.

A was reportedly found dead at her dormitory on Thursday, May 11, with a suicide note found at her place of passing, seemingly confirming it was death by suicide. However, her social media activity on Monday, May 15, made fans want to know the truth.

Fans Confused by the Promising Troth Singer's Passing

According to AllKpop, fans doubted whether A's passing was real before she changed her YouTube channel's comment settings.

"I can't believe this," one commenter said.

"Please give us an answer," another demanded.

"I don't think this is true," a fan stated.

Aside from her social media activity, she reportedly ran errands a day before news of her passing hit the headlines—thanking her fans and revealing her whereabouts.

Trot Singer Found Dead in Apparent Suicide

Police and music insiders claimed the troth singer, who was in her 30s, was found dead at her dorm in an apparent suicide.

The singer got everyone's attention for her pansori-based singing skills and was known to have a major in traditional Korean music at her university.

Though A's name hasn't been disclosed, fans seem to identify her identity with the information given, and many believe she's the trot singer Hae Soo.

Starnews claimed, via Vietnam PostsEnglish, that it tried to call the troth singer but got no answer.

People related to her also didn't return calls.

In addition, her Instagram and fan café had several comments wishing her to rest in peace, with some asking if she really took her own life and begging her to reply to their messages.

The police will reportedly deliver A to her family as soon as possible.

Who is Hae Soo?

Hae Soo was born in 1993 and majored in Pansori, a piece of Korean traditional music, at the Korea National University of Arts.

She dropped her first album in 2019 and her second in 2021.
