Ms. Marvel marks the debut of Kamala Khan who is a super huge fan of Captain Marvel that she attended an AvengersCon where she got her very own Captain Marvel suit. This sparked the idea of the possibility of having the event in real life where MCU fans could gather and hear the latest news and updates about the franchise.

As reported by ComicBook.com, during the press conference for the Ms. Marvel premiere, when Kevin Feige was asked by the panel whether the AvengersCon would be possible to happen in real life, he said, "We were talking about that on the set."

Feige shared what made them think of the possibility of an AvengersCon to become a real event, "It was very cathartic for all of us to see that and we were shooting Spider-Man: No Way Home on the stage right next door, the scene with the three Spideys. The crew from that movie kept sneaking over to see. I think that might be fun to do sometime. Yes."
